2019 Incheon Global Campus Music Festival
In Korea, universities host large music festivals to enhance networking among students. The Incheon Global Campus provides diverse cultural experiences through these festivals, broadening students' perspectives.
My Position:
Event Manager / University of Utah Asia Campus Event Director of Student Council
Team size: 15
To further school marketing, networking, and the enrichment of campus culture, South Korean universities annually host massive music festivals. Incheon Global Campus, renowned as a global educational hub, dedicates significant efforts to cultivating an exceptional student environment. The IGC Music Festival is a key event that shows how dedicated the campus is to getting students involved and making their experience better.
Event Directors from each of the four universities were tasked with organizing and managing this festival, collaborating closely with IGC Foundation staff. The event directing team's distinctive characteristics underscored the essential need for role allocation throughout the entire preparation phase. Each individual portrayed distinct priorities and focal points. While the IGC Foundation concentrated on tasks such as inviting vocalists, budgeting, and projecting marketing outcomes, event directors from each university prioritized enhancing student convenience and boosting student participation rates.
My Achievement:
Created small events collaborating with Professors for more students to engage and received 5/5 positive reviews from students.
Created Program Evaluation Form for future reference.
Suggested ideas during the meeting to ensure students' safety.
