UNESCO Fifth ICLC Asia Pacific Regional Meeting in collaboration with APLC
In October 2021, Korea Long-Life Learning Foundation Alliance for Asia- Pacific Learning Cities (APLC) held the follow-up conference as an official opening session on Fifth International Conference on Learning Cities (ICLC).
My Position:
International Cooperation Team Leader / Event Director
Team Size: 20
In order to strengthen the network of Asia Pacific Learning Cities and exploring ways for cities to transcend the crisis post-COVID-19, Korea Long-Life Learning Foundation Alliance for Asia- Pacific Learning Cities (APLC) held the follow-up conference as an official opening session on Fifth International Conference on Learning Cities (ICLC).
What I learned working as an International Cooperation Team Leader and Event Director for this conference is that the details make everything possible. With our team having an extremely tight schedule which is 10 days, to prepare for the upcoming event, keeping track on the details of every guests, updates we got from other teams were crucial especially during the pandemic due to Covid-19 changing policies worldwide.
The conference's agenda and organization's characteristic was focused on education worldwide, however, I could still develop my skill as a future producer as I gain the opportunity to practice time-management, International and Team communication and with this experience, the biggest lesson I learned is that Creativity comes after the details.
My acheivement:
Successfully coordinated the participation of both domestic and international honored guests, achieving 98% attendance rate.
Achieved 50,000 USD in budget management.
Rapidly Communicated with Media Team and successfully prepared program book, digital marketing contents (Promo video, promotional pamphlet, and VIP guest Introduction Video) before the conference date.
